The deadline for submitting online Annual Filings through FoSCoS has been extended from June 30th to August 30th, 2021.
The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) has granted Food Business Operators (FBO) some relaxations 23-June-2021.
According to a directive issued under Section 16(5) of the FSS Act 2006, FBOs should be given some leeway during COVID-19, which are as follows:
- The deadline for submitting online Annual Filings through FoSCoS has been extended from June 30th to August 30th, 2021.
- Waiver for late fee for renewing the license.
Attention- DG sets users will have to use retrofitted emission control equipment in Delhi
Retrofitting of Emission Control Device/Equipment in DG sets with capacity of 125 KVA and above in NCT of Delhi
2nd July 2021- On the direction of Hon’ble NGT, Delhi Pollution control Committee (DPCC) issues directions under section 31(A) of Air (Pollution and control of pollution) Act 1981, read with Rule 20A (6) of the Air (Pollution and control of Pollution) (Union Territories) Rules Act 1983 for Retrofitting of Emission Control Device/Equipment in DG sets with capacity of 125 KVA and above in NCT of Delhi.
For DG set already operational, ensure either of two options: -
- Use of retrofitted emission control device/equipment having minimum specified particulate matter capturing efficiency of at least 70%, type approval by one of the five CPCB’s Approved lab
- Shifting to gas-based generator by employing new gas base generators or retrofitting the existing DG set for partial gas usage
The deadline for registering plastic waste has been extended to August 1, 2021.
In continuation of CPCB's Notice No. B-17011/7/PWM/2021 dated May 14, 2021 on the subject, this is to inform that, due to the current Covid pandemic situation, the deadline for PIBOs (those operating in more than two States/UTs) who have not yet applied for Registration to submit a complete application to CPCB has been extended to August 1, 2021.
