The deadline for submitting online Annual Filings through FoSCoS has been extended from June 30th to August 30th, 2021.

The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) has granted Food Business Operators (FBO) some relaxations   23-June-2021.

According to a directive issued under Section 16(5) of the FSS Act 2006, FBOs should be given some leeway during COVID-19, which are as follows:

1. The deadline for submitting online Annual Filings through FoSCoS has been extended from June 30th to August 30th, 2021.
2. Waiver for late fee for renewing the license.
