If a Food Business Operator (FBO) has food business premises in two or more states, he must obtain a Central License for his Registered Office or Head Office, as well as licenses/registrations for each unit/premise. Depending on the capability or turnover of each unit/premise, a separate licence or registration must be obtained from the concerned Central or State licencing authorities.
ABC Pvt.ltd has five outlets in three different states and head office and one store of company located in Delhi, and two store located in Noida and one store located Gurgaon. In the give situation FBO can apply for central license for head office and four other license which depend on turnover of that particular unit.
